If you've owned them, you love them! Comfy, cute, super versatile, and they're helping children in need... what's not to love?!?! TOMS has released their fall collection http://www.toms.ca/. The wedges are defintely on my 'to buy' list. I already own two pairs of classics; a plain canvas pair, which I am still brainstorming how to design, and a pair of silver glitters. As much as I love my silver glitters for the fact that I can wear them with almost anything, I distinctly remember thinking "o but imagine them in red, like ruby slippers..." and here they are! So magical!!

Fake lashes, thickly painted on eyeliner, tights, strips, huge earrings, fur, costume jewellery... how can you not feel oober inspired by Edie Sedgwick!??! Both tragic and beautiful (or is it tragically beautiful), she was a doll and will always be one of my fav late-greats. I have way too much fun dressing up like her... hehe.

Free People is opening in Toronto!!! This is some of the most exciting news I've heard in a while... for all of those in the Ontario-region, you will understand my excitement. I personally find all of these shots really amazing... it doesn't hurt that the clothes are out-of-this-world beautiful! Here are some recent pics of myself at a festival. This dress I find perfect for chilly summer sunsets, I got it at Forever 21, but it's by Love 21. This is the first peice I've bought from Love 21, and I have to say, "So far, so good!". It's so comfy and hippy-chic, it's a no-brainer for any festival.

This needs to be said... Austrailia you are awesome! I see so many amazing designers and brands coming out of AUS right now; they are on fire and the kindle is raw talent! I recently did a post breifly showcasing Black Milk Clothing, a super original AUS brand, well here is another but with a completely different concept, Arnhem Clothing. Arnhem Bickley's clothes are effortlessly beautiful and full of earthy tones and patterns. I just copied a few of the floral patterns here, since that's a summer trend I wanted to highlight as well. But go check out the sight, it's well worth your while, even just for inspiration (I've included the link below). The first dress I am dying for... it's just so perfect! The crochet detail is impeccable and the pattern in so retro and gorgeous. If you love this pattern like I do, you can find it on the site in other peices too! Amazzzing!!! Have fun shopping!

Cupcake!

Mmmmmm cupcake!! Here I am in an American Apparel tube dress and a scarf from Forever 21. I tried to get a good pic of this scarf alone to really show it off, but I just couldn't capture it well enough to do it justice. It's been so hot here, a little tube dress seems like one of the most obvious choices. I hope everyone is beating the heat!

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone had a memorable weekend. I spent it at my sister's place, far into the country. I was absorbing the peacefulness of wide open spaces when I saw these beautiful babies getting dusty on a top shelf in her mud room. It was love at first sight; they put a spell on me. They were just a little reminder that we can find inspiration in every corner of our lives.... with an open heart and mind.

Omg Omg Omg! Check out the site for Black Milk Clothing (I have posted the link at the end of this post). It's seriously full of the most amazing things I've ever seen come from Austrailia... and I consider that place enchantingly beautiful. I've included some of my favs from their site, but really you just have to check it out... because I can not put into words how awesome it is. The leg bone leggings I ordered the instant I saw them. There so edgy and remind me of total rockstar-wear. I can't wait for them to arrive!

Love! Love! Love! I love my UO goddess chain headdress. It makes me feel moderately unique. I love my leather Aldo boots and I am in love with this dress!! It has so many amazing details... the edges, the zipper at the back, the fact that it's double layered.... In my last post I was raving about American Apparel, but this time it's Forever 21. I have no problem going in there any day of the week and loading my arms with shopping bags :) First of all, the store is huge and full of selection; if you see a material that you like, they usually have several different designs which gives you a greater chance to find the perfect fit. Their stuff is always perfectly on point with whats trending and offered at such a reasonable price, you just can't go wrong. Props!!!
